How To Get Rid Of Cellulite

One of the number one fitness tips people ask me for is 'How To Get Rid Of Cellulite?". One of the reasons why cellulite is so frustrating for many is because:
1. Cellulite doesn't respond to crash dieting (STOP CRASH DIETING!)
2. It happens to EVERYONE, male/female, thin/thick.
3. Cellulite seems impossible to get rid of!

What is cellulite and how do we get it?
According to HealthyAndNatural.com cellulite forms from toxic accumulation (junk food, smoking etc), enlarged fat cells (continual excessive caloric intake), poor circulation (lack of movement/exercise), fibrosis of connecting tissue and water retention (not drinking enough water, too much sodium).

It would make sense then that the cure to cellulite is clean eating, exercise, dry skin brushing and adequate water intake. All four, when combined should help to alleviate your cellulite!

A few years back, the Huffington Post did an experiment where they tested 12 popular 'home-remedies' for cellulite. After having different women apply 12 different remedies for at least 30 days, there was one clear winner, Dry Brushing with Coconut Oil! The coconut oil helps to protect the skin while the dry brushing helps to break down and circulate the harmful toxins. The before and after photo at the top is the direct result of dry brushing on cellulite!

No, that gorgeous butt is not mine, unfortunately I couldn't find who the butt belonged to. Maybe we should put out a cyber search party and tag line the photo with "Is this your bum!?".

What Kind of dry brush?: You want to choose a natural bristle brush, the one I bought was $9 on Amazon and came with a handle.
How to dry brush?: Using long, upward strokes, start brushing your skin at your feet and work up your legs one at a time. Then move up your mid-section (front and back) and across your chest. Finish by brushing up your arms toward your armpits.
How Often?: Everyday before you shower, concentrate on problem areas.

Combine daily dry brushing with a healthy eating regimen, exercise and your daily recommended water intake and you should see a huge improvement within 30 days!

Best Of Luck!
